OUR COVID-19 MEASURES

The health and well-being of our Guests and Staff has always been paramount for us and has guided many of our decisions during this time, especially the readying of No. Fifty Cheyne for post-COVID19 London.

Over the past year you have placed great trust in us, and we take our responsibilities to you very seriously, we have been extensively coordinating with our registered Health & Safety consultants in the Restaurant, Food and Hospitality industries.

 

CREATING A SAFE SPACE
We have reconfigured all the rooms at No. Fifty Cheyne to facilitate social distancing and where possible one-directional routes have also been demarked. We ask that you observe any social distancing wall and floor signage when in No. Fifty Cheyne.

Around our signature open grill we have installed elegant antique brass and safety-glass see-through screens. Keeping the theatre and our loved guest engagement ever present. We will be installing glass screens on reception.

Hand sanitizer will be available at various points around the venue, including the reception, either end of the staircase and bathrooms. There will also be a small pump bottle on each table for your use at any time.
Seats, tables and banquets will be sanitised before and after each use.

A no-touch policy has been implemented, so no handshakes or hugs – for the moment.

We are also preparing a campaign for the creation of an outdoor space (that we may need your help and support on).

 

TRAINING OUR TEAMS
We have adjusted our service processes to support distancing and enhanced hygiene. All our teams will be receiving return to work briefings, taken through all new processes in detail.

Our Staff will be required to make a mandatory health declaration before each venue visit to confirm they are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, nor have they come in contact with someone who is experiencing symptoms. Any staff member feeling unwell will go on sick leave.

All Staff will to subject to random body temperatures taken upon arrival to No. Fifty Cheyne entry via touchless thermometers. Per WHO guidelines, individuals with a body temperature greater than 100.4 degrees will be sent home immediately.

 

MANAGING CAPACITY
Where tables or chairs have been spaced (or removed) as per government distancing guidelines, our designers have installed stylish partial-privacy screens which also reduce any DD transmission opportunities, whilst keeping our character intact.

We have introduced an upgraded booking system, so you can book both The Dining Room on the ground floor and The Drawing Room on the first. Our full à la carte menu is served on both floors, and reserving tables for drinks, tea, coffee, a little laptop time or book-reading is invited too in The Drawing Room.

Table reservation times are now staggered with increased time-periods between reservations to minimise any congestion when arriving or exiting No. Fifty Cheyne.

Where tables or chairs have been removed as per government distancing guidelines, our designers stylish, sympatric privacy screens which also reduce any D.D. transmission opportunities.

 

TOP NOTCH HYGINE
We will deep clean all of No. Fifty Cheyne overnight. This will be supported by constant cleaning and sanitation during the day, focussed on high contact surfaces. Our four petite bathrooms now have a dedicated attendant to continually clean each before and after each use.

High quality, commercial disinfectants designed to be effective against the COVID-19 virus will be in continuous and deep-cleaning processes.

Equipment will be sanitised before and after each use. All the equipment shared in the kitchen is also logged after each individual’s use.

All kitchen staff wear masks & gloves when in the building. Face shield may be worn by certain members of staff too.
Each kitchen section will be operated by one chef at one time.

We will be ensuring we maintain our current Food Standards Agency rating of ✰✰✰✰✰
